Angel eye ballast or resistor?

One of my angel eyes has quit working. Can anyone tell me what the small black canister in the circuit is and can I get a replacement? I have power to it but the angel eye wont light. Thanks.

Sounds similar to my issue only mine is intermittent. When my problem occurs I am able to roll the car and pop start it in second gear.

Thanks for the input! When it doesn't start there is no click, lights don't dim, nothing. I've already replaced the ignition switch but haven't had it out much to test this past week as the weather...
