O2 Boxster S 140K 6 speed Recently replaced most of the front suspension parts. New clutch last year.

Tires , Oil changes . Rotors... MAF Thats it ,,,,
remarkable for a 15 year old car.

On that note My S is an 01 . I live in Michigan the car came from Atlanta. Four years ago.
She now has 140k. And I hope for another 100K . It is not abused but it is used as intended. Frequently....

I purchased my 01 S about 4 years ago Put on 50k wonderful miles. Always drove 3 or 5 series BMWs before I got this car. Love the Porsche but looking at the deals you can get on 08-09 CaymanS ....

Update to start up issue... So I removed the TB...

Update to start up issue...
So I removed the TB and it was clean. Cleaned it replaced. Checked air filter it was clean.
Removed and cleaned the MAF. connected battery started car. It ran like crap...

I tell you what I do not care for is removing the TB . I have dropped the studs several times trying to get that bottom right one out .

looked up fuel filter replacement for 986 and it is under the car . About in the middle . And it is only 50 bucks thought it couldn't hurt to replace it...

01 S Rough start

What up ...

Well I have an 01 Boxter S 131k sorta daily driver for past 3 years.
At start up runs bad.... hit the gas a little almost sounds like a backfire.
