I had the exact problem with my 2000S. I replaced the clockspring and the problem went away. If I hadn't been provided the part with the car, I probably would have tried to repair the original part....

I put put through F1 A2 on my 00S this spring. Only have about 1000 km on them so far, but they seem like a great tire. Very little road noise and seem to have good grip. Made in Germany too!

I replaced all of my CV boots earlier this year....

I replaced all of my CV boots earlier this year. I used a basic press for fwd or irs vehicles to separate the half shafts from the carrier this way I didn't have to bother with unbolting the carrier....
