Strong gas smell

Last Friday, 5 days ago, while getting gas, I was putting the nozzle into the car and a BUNCH of gas spilled into the gas door area. It didn't pool up, and went down the drain in the filling area.

Replaced water pump, now.....

When at a stop, not while driving, I notice a smell of gasoline. The car is not throwing any codes. I will take it back to the shop tomorrow, but wondering if anyone had any ideas.

The Sumitomo HRIII are a very good tire. I have never put them on the Boxster, but have on other cars. I just put a set of Michelin Super Sports on for about $600. But that was rear only.
