Clamshell stuck- roof not working
My roof got stuck in the closed position. Clamshell tried to open slightly on one side but no movement on the other side. Could hear motor trying to operate.

Well here,s mine with the triangles / side markers stopped to clear. I reckon it's an improvement and the original lights are in A1 condition.

Thanks for the input guys - job done and back on the road. Right spec battery from BatteryWorld for A$209 and easy to fit. (Everything is twice the price in Australia)

Not sure I would agree with his summary. Built some engines for TAG (successfully in 83/4 and a brief appearance in the sixties).

Just watched the Australian GP. Will be interesting season with the new regs.
Ferrari, Mercedes, Maclaren, Lotus all present. So why not Porsche?

Yes I live in Perth. Awesome but expensive is about right. If you're earning plenty then no worries. Porsches are at least twice as expensive as in the US for example. Good local Porsche club....

Some advice please on changing the headlight corner infills. Is it necessary to pop out the headlights or do the corners easily come off without doing this?

Hi Redmond,
I bought some tail lights from Suncoast parts in the US - red 550 style not LEDs. Shipping to WA was no probs, great service, but it adds to the cost a bit.

Actually been reading the forum for ages and have had my Boxster for around 12 months.
All great so far with routine maintenance and no probs. Changed the rear lights to 550 style red units...
