I thought about this and came to the same...
I thought about this and came to the same conclusion. I've never seen anything, even contact cement, that doesn't perform better when given a chance to "set". I constructed a jig to take the weight...

Re-attach rain sensor mirror
I have a 2000 Boxster S. The mirror came un-stuck and upon examination, I discovered a sticky disk on the inside glass that was easy to scrape off and looked like clear double-sided tape. Forum posts...
