I put an exhaust off a 2003 S on my 2000 base and it was a straight bolt on mod!

In 2003 Porsche made a mod on the S exhaust that made it much more throaty without the resonence, I am very happy...

I found it amusing they placed the tach promenently large and centered in the cluster and then the spedo was like an afterthought.
