You’re not the only one. I felt what I thought was a significant power loss when I had the A/C on in my Boxster. It was why I mostly drove it without it on. I don’t notice it with my C2S.

Think positive!...at least the shop didn’t take a chunk of paint off the car itself! ;) Whenever I had to get new tires on my Boxster, I used to take all 4 wheels off and put my winter set of wheels...

@tonythetiger- I actually got it as a gift myself. I have a 2007 Carrera S Cab though, and the part# on this gas cap is 997 201 980 00. I’m pretty sure it fits on the Boxster too...

FWIW, I never changed mine that I had for 17 yrs up until the day I sold it last week. Never noticed any issues with my steering.
