I just got the diagnosis from my Indy. Cables stretched, replace both cables. Parts should be in tomorrow.

I’ll update once I get the car back

Parking brake is set and parking brake cluster light responds appropriately.

AOS or PCV?

2.5L 1998 Base 986. Almost no options.

Car has 35k mi. Entire engine was replaced by Porsche under warranty (10k ago, 10 years ago) with a crate engine (which I assume had a new AOS).
