I just got the diagnosis from my Indy. Cables stretched, replace both cables. Parts should be in tomorrow.

Parking brake is set and parking brake cluster light responds appropriately.

"We wouldn't be able to proceed with the 986 text unless the design had further personalization because the focus would still be on Porsche."...

AOS or PCV?

2.5L 1998 Base 986. Almost no options.

Car has 35k mi. Entire engine was replaced by Porsche under warranty (10k ago, 10 years ago) with a crate engine (which I assume had a new AOS).
