I stuck mine in one of the slots in the owners manual. For awhile it was under the card holder on the passenger visor.

If the door is separate you could try to buy a set of locks from another Boxster and just change the tumblers.

Frankly I’d just replace the tank with a genuine unit at this point. It’s certainly showing its age, and I even replaced my tank when it was a lot whiter than that one.

For HPDEs with PCA, the standard protection is sufficient to pass requirements. Not sure for other organizations. Brey-Krause has an extension to allow passage of the “broomstick test”, I believe.
