You can remove the 2 metal brackets from the original Porsche bracket, to give yourself a working support bracket... These 2 metal clips are riveted in and can just be drilled out.

This is the only image I can find for getting the Porsche ME7.8 into boot mode, but itś nothing like your circuit board....
