Although obviously not great, it's re-assuring to know I'm not the only one who has these little bubbles in the vicinity of the air vents. I've owned the 2002 2.7 for about 7 months and don't recall...

Further thoughts
Since continuing to drive the car, the sound is becoming moire obvious as a vibration - bit like exhaust noise which appears between idle and about 1K revs. Any further thoughts?
