All good points. I'm at the stage where it is on the last bar and flashing. I didn't realize each bar is only about a 1/3 of a quart. Thanks guys!

Oil Question
What type of oil does the 987S come with out of the factory? The sticker says Mobile 1 but doesn't indicate the rating (0W40, 5W40, 5W50)? Does it matter which of these I top up the engine with as...

987 Pedals
Guys,
Is there any difference in 987 pedals from those on the 986? I'm looking at some new pedals but aren't sure if they'll fit.
Thanks,
Rob

Anyone from Belgium?
I'm trying to get some info on the anti-carjacking systems that are required here in Belgium, on cars worth over 50.000 EURO. Are there any members from Belgium who can recommend an installer?

Didn't think it was a great idea
Thanks guys. I have a set of 19" Carrera S wheels (987 version) already on order. I had seen a set of 997s for sale and began to wonder, hence the question. Since many argue performance decreases...

What would it take to fit a set of 19" Carrera S rims on a 987S? I'm talking about the rears that are 11.0 X 19.

Anybody got pics of the stainless steel exhaust tips? Are they worth adding?
How about the padded sport steering wheel, is it worth the cash?

Daytime Running Lights
The 987 manual says that I can set Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) if I have the Sport Chrono Pkg and PCM. Do I need the sport chrono or can this be done solely with the PCM?
Thanks,
Rob

MP3s with PCM?
Hey guys,
I've read on a 997 board that the 2006 997 PCM module allows you to play MP3s. Is this the same for the 2006 PCM? Is it the same system in the 987s and the 997s?
Thanks,
Rob

Short Throw Shifter?
I know the 987s already have reduced the shift throw (15% on the S). Is the short shifter mechanism still a worthwhile option...is there a noticeable difference from the stock shifter?

18" or 19" Wheels on Boxster
