The diagram indicates that pin 7 turns the changer on/off, pin 8 provides constant 12V power and pin 9 is the ground. I am not 100% sure if the CD ON signal has enough juice to operate the system...

There is a fuse on the back of the radio. You need a set of becker radio pullers to remove the radio.

Thanks. I will look at the brakes, but as I said, The squeal only occurs on hot days. I hear the squeal when I slowly creep over the curb as I exit the drive (downhill) or as I slow going downhill....
