Obviously, the motor has always made noise. But recently, the top action and the noise are less smooth and more pulsing. It's not quite jerky in its motion, but it's jetting worse.

You can go to a dealer and get a replacement key. They are cheap, and most dealers have them in stock. That's what I did.

Keep in mind that you'll also want to change the VIN in the new cluster. I did it with an eprom programmer. It's a little scary that you can change the odometer reading from a hand held scanner.
