Thanks to all who replied and for the great bit of info on the clutch instal.
Yesterday, the same local car repairer told me that the instal for the clutch and r.m.s. was closer to 30 hours work....

Question clutch replacement job in hours

Hi all
Any ideas how long it should take to replace the clutch and r.m.s. in a 2000 boxster. Ive been quoted 25 hours. is it really that big of a task

Hi all
Just changed the sparkplugs - then drove about 100 metres when the cel came on. Took the wheel back off then checked the coil connection on cylinder 1. Cleared the fault turned ignition on...

Question 2000 boxster spark plug help

hi all
Any ideas on which is the correct bosch sparkplug to install in a 2000 model porsche boxster with the 2.7 motor. I have reason to believe that mine are the originals from new with 40,000...

Thanks for the info on the radio code. Z3 was by cable. Although the Z3 was not a bad car - the boxster tracks extremely well and far better

Thanks for all the great info. I was totally unaware of the cumputer and the previous persons driving style. I'll start with what you said - battery out etc for an hour then give it the 150 klm...

thanks for the reply. was unaware that the computer in the boxster tracking another persons driving style.
will try out what you mentioned then add a bottle of injection cleaner.
