Exactly how you said by pulling up the bleed valve and let the engine run until no more air was trapped.

I wonder if someone can help me, i have just replaced a radiator to a 986 on Friday, no problems there. I took the car up to Leeds on Saturday also no problem. I checked the coolant level...
