I think you need to subtract out what you think you could sell the car for today. Otherwise your calculations do not make any sense, as your cost will always start out sky-high, and drop over time....

Just a thought. Since 4" component speakers are not common, a 4x6 plate speaker might be able to be adapted to fit the dash location. Trimming the plate seems like it would yield a speaker pair...

There are aftermarket Cayman style spoilers that are made to fit the 986, check ebay. But the Cayman parts do not fit.
