just spoke with Pacific Accessory - they make the IC-RCA cable ... this will NOT work with the iPhone 3G. It will transfer audio, but will NOT charge the unit.

Guess I have to wait a few months...

What I'm looking to do is put a dock IN one of the actual cup holders that I can push in/out as I wish (2002 Base Boxster). Problem...
