I think it may have started after I cleaned the outside of the window with standard liquid glass cleaner. It might be a coincidence though. The cleaner is a solvent which may have got into the seal...

Any Advice? -Squeaky glass rear window
My 2004MY car has developed a very annoying squeak from the glass rear window. You can hear it the car flexes over bumps etc. When stationary the same noise can be heard by pressing on the lower edge...
