Hi there. Have just opened the unit to find it has a 3V battery in it (made in switzerland) These are the same battery as found on computer motherboards (CMOS battery)

Still ok to use the same 3V...

We jacked it up and it wasn't loose, but when you spin the wheel you can hear the grinding.

Seems to be humming - Only really noticeable at 50-60kph with the roof shut. Have had it checked by my regular garage (who confirmed it was a worn bearing) who says I need to goto a Porsche...

Yeah, the gentleman tells me that the car is original, but was mainly just interested to know if they came out with a 2.7 that early on.

Family member has a CLK 55AMG and it is an absolute beaut...
