i think its main purpose is to hold that foam...

i think its main purpose is to hold that foam insert for that area in place.
this is the foam barrier that directs all water to the drain hole.

i wouldn't bother replacing them they are 5...

they are 5 1/4" woofers and 1ohm resistance
i wired them in series and hooked them up to an old Soundstream amp i have
giving them 200 watts @ 2ohm
low pass...

you grab from the top of both sides and pull...

you grab from the top of both sides
and pull straight up
as if you are pulling the seat up towards the roof
you basically need to unclip those 3 clips on the far left of the above pic
they hook...

grab it from both sides where you see the red text printed on the white foam (on the left)
and you want to lift straight up, as if you are lifting the seat up towards the roof...

i got some foam thats used for cushions from Michaels
its a 2 pack of a white square of foam
i cut the square into 2 rectangles
which came out to be the perfect...

just bought one of these and was testing it...

just bought one of these and was testing it yesterday
i connected the sub + and sub- wires to the 2 wires that go to the left speaker
this way i don't need to run new input wires
this basically...

also fixed the door flaps on the heater box yesterday.
had amazing heat today at my feet :)
