They're similarly spec'd . About 10k difference in sticker price according to the build sheet but that's mostly just the S part. Same year. Same mileage. No idea! The difference in annual cost is $70...

Must be going crazy. Exploring two same year 987 models. One is base. The other is S. When checking the insurance rates with my broker, the S is cheaper than the base. Why would that be, generally?

Thanks! That's interesting, when I look at it , it certainly just looks like black plastic trim but I guess it could be painted? It's very matte.

This is accurate, thanks. I realized the double flash does exist - it just takes a second, unlike my daily driven BMW which has conditioned me to expect it instantaneously.

Really? I read in the manual that a double lock disables the interior sensors. That DOES produce a short honk though. Maybe I need to look for the turn signal flash.
