I have a 99 US spec model and as I am in Spain I would like to change the digital units to metric....is this an option the US model?

Buying a 1999 Box
I'm on the verge of making an offer on a 1999 US spec (imported to Spain), 986, 155k miles model. Have driven it, seems fine, looks straight, feels right...what should I be looking for....first...
