Had good run in my 986 today. When I left it sitting long enough to open garage doors, about two minutes, The cooling fans came on and it started to leak coolant just forward of the rear wheel....

Just got 1989 2.5l. Have this annoying sound, previous owner had water pump and
Alternator switched. No coolant leaking onto belt and he says spark plugs not loose.
Apart from this car seems to run...
