Thats a typical indicator of a bad cv joint. When you turn the wheel all the way you push that joint to the limits and itll make noise.

That grease ring was under the car. I had to take off the skid plate to see it. It was pretty much a semi-circle directly above the cv joint, following that same line towards the front of the car...

Almost all the bolts holding the cv joint to the differential were either bent or broken. Looks like they had backed out and the axel finally popped out and ripped the bolts out of there. I had to...
