Set off alarm now cluster dead

I accidentally set off my alarm the other day, the car starts and I can drive it but my cluster is dead. Radio says protect, ac system is dead. I know it's the security system, but I can't clear it....

Went better than I thought! solder on new microswitch, replaced the top key cover piece and it all works, joy to have remote again!

Im having a similar issue mine doesn't move, disconnected the battery, when I reconnected it the spoiler clicked and moved up a few inches, that's all, wont move at speed of manually.

Steering wheel adjustment

Hi all, just took delivery of a 2003 boxster, trying to adjust the steering wheel, the locking handle will not move in any direction, is there a step I'm missing?
