F/S new Vertex Rebuilt 986 Water Pump

I have a new in box vertex rebuilt water pump ($119 new plus $80 core charge from vertex). I have the reciept with it as well.

I know the factory water pump is a weak point in these engines due to the plastic impeller.

Does anyone make an upgraded water pump that is not prone to the issues that are inherent to the OEM...

fishski - you might want to also consider using redline oil. It is quite expensive but with the IMS, and long intervals of sitting, I feel the peace of mind is worth it.

I hear what you're saying about the larger wheels - but the boxster is a daily driver. It definitely should have 18s though for looks. That and about a 1.5 inch drop :)

OEM anthracite wheels and painted rotor hats

Some idiot (me) dropped one of my wheels face first onto the pavement and gouged it so I needed to get it refinished.
