9th Annual Autos in the Park

The 9th Annual Autos in the Park event was held yesterday in the sprawling, bucolic grounds of the Cooper Aerobics Center in Dallas.

I believe this is the largest gathering of fine and rare collector-quality automobiles in the Metroplex. And definitely most expensive. I dare say that if some sort of catastrophe struck the grounds, the net worth of Dallas would plummet.

Took a lot of pics, so this post must be separated into three.

Enjoy!

Very rare BMW M1

MPower Inline 6 - just a few inches from your head.

Low mileage, showroom condition BMW 2002

986forum member Fred Payne's stunning 986

Nothing says "old money" like Rolls-Royce.

Nothing says "nouveau riche" like Bentley.

A genuine AC, before Carroll Shelby got a hold of it.

After Shelby "tweaked" it.

Men love tools, flashlights, and gauges..............lots of gauges.

The best Land Rover ever made...........a Toyota FJ.

All of the cars at the show were simply stunning, but the Italian models were spectacular, and oozed a fragrance of art and sex.

Alfa Romeo Montreal

Lambo Diablo

Pantera GTS - Italian styling and brute American horsepower screaming right next to your eardrums.

Ferrari Challenge Stradale

Lambo Aventador

Midship Lambo V12

Dino 246GT

A yellow 246 completes the set.

Godzilla

I think this is a WTF. Can anyone confirm?
