99 Boxster brake light question

Hi I have a 99 Boxster and for some reason out of the blue It wont let me shift from park to drive and yes my foot is on the brake. So I checked and looks like the brake lights aren't on. I think this is the problem. Im trying to change the fuse but I don't know which one it is. It wasn't listed in the drivers manual. If anyone could help I'de really appreciate it. Thanks again guys!

check Fuse B1 - brake light
B7, B8 - tip control- may also be involved

There should be a manual override button somewhere so you can shift.
Used when you need to shift into neutral and your battery is dead or the car is not running.

Also I believe that you have two switches on the brake pedal, one for brake light, the other for the trans unlock.

bypass them to see if that fixes it if the fuses are ok.
the switch is cheap, like 18$
