Tiptronic transmission replacement parts????
 

I have a 99 porsche boxster an the front bushings went bad causing it to leak where can I find a bushing replacement or a overhaul kit because the trans shifts an drove perfect just started leaking an don't wanna spend 2000 dollars or more because of a bushing....please help!!!

Are you positive it's the transmission and not the rear main seal on the engine? In other words are you leaking oil or transmission fluid? I think you can buy a dye you can add to the oil to verify one way or the other.

The final drive is between the trans and the engine and if the TIP is over filled you will build up to much pressure and force TIP fluid into the final drive. If the final drive gets to much fluid there is a air hole above the final drive axle cover. If the oil is leaking where the two connect, it's most likely the RMS. TIP fluid has a very distinct smell over engine oil. I have a leak on my drive side of the final drive unit and will need to replace the seal...maybe you have the same since this is a common area for a leak. :cheers:

If you need a tiptronic I just pulled a perfectly working one out of a customers car with 60k on it.

He did a 5 speed conversion.
