Cool NorCal: thinking of hosting a tech day at my house

A few small projects have built up for the Boxster that I can no longer procrastinate on. Instead of working on them by myself, I figure it may be more fun to invite others with similar projects to come over and share the driveway / garage. I can also fire up the BBQ at the backyard for those who wants to just come chill / help / chat. I'm in the Sunnyvale area.

How does that sound? Will most likely be on a Sunday.

i'm really digging the cheers icon ->

You might want to pop into Renntech and see if they'll put together another Work On Cars Day (WOCD) in the SF Bay area:

http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?showforum=41

We've just postponed one for the Sacramento area:

Unfortunately I'm about 3.5 hrs away from you, so I'm out.

ah thanks for the pointer about the work on cars day - there is a location close to me too, so i'll definitely post up and see if they are interested in hosting another day (or not then i'd be happy to host it).

No major repairs here, just the OBC hack, rear trunk struts replacement, oil change, BBQ, chat and enjoy a sunny afternoon in the south bay~

If you get one together please let me know I've been thinking about installing a Pedro's torque bar and don't have a garage.

Where are you located in NorCal? I'm up near Redding. I've got a garage and I could certainly help you with the torque bar, I've got my own version on my car and through the development of that bar I've had it in and out several times. I've had three different ones installed in my car!!!
