2009 PCA-UCR Concours Exotic Show & Shine Charity Event - Aug 30th

This year the Porsche Club of America Upper Canada Region will hold its annual Concours d'Elegance on Sunday August 30th at Rolling Hills Golf Club. As in the past, this day welcomes PCA club members and Porsche owners to exhibit its marquee to members, owners and the public. The purpose of the annual Concours is to promote PCA and to foster interest in the preservation, restoration and display of classic Porsches and to promote the marquee in general. New to this year's Concours is the introduction of a Show & Shine Category for other exotic car owners and dealers allowing different groups of car owners to gather and share their passion. And to make the event more meaningful, all proceeds of the event will benefit the Ice Breaking Care Society - Norman Bethune Medical Relief Fund. To take advantage of the beautiful golf facility, we will hold golf activities, such as the Hole-in-One contest, Closest to Pin Contest and the Putting Contest where a brand new car and other great prizes can be won. The entire event will end with an evening dinner at Emerald Hill Golf Club where car owners, sponsors, and important guest will enjoy great food and feature performance and the presentation of awards. We are extremely excited about this year's concours and with your support will make it a great success. There's very very likely chance that Porsche Canada will bring the new Panamera 4-door sedan to the show. The car is currently at Halifax port going thru customs and inspections. This will make it the first official unveiling of the car in Canada. Stay tuned for more details.
