Audio Amplifier Location
 

Can anyone please tell the location of the Audio Amplifier all I am trying to do is fit a hands free kit (Parott 92000)

assuming you have an amplifier (early Boxsters w/o a premium sound pkg did not and therefore only had dash speakers)... it is mounted in front trunk against firewall. If a 986, it's up high behind spare tire. If 987, it's low behind panel that hold wheel lock key, tools and tire goop).

Hi Chris,
did you manage to fit the 9200 in the end? I am thinking of connecting into the cables going into the yellow plug at the back of the head unit but I am concerned about connecting an amplified source to the amp inputs. What did you do?

mine is also in the front boot near the multi cd changer
