Cayman GT4 RS

We had a club board of directors mtg Tue evening and one of the members drove her new GT4 RS. Stunning looking car and has a mean bark. She and her husband are trying to get 2K mi on it so he can drive it at our DE on the 29th. There's a 2nd GT4 RS on the loose in OMA sold by Porsche of Omaha. It's a blue/gray color. He's a DEer too, so maybe both will be in attendance in 2 wks. I followed her for a while on the drive home. That car is so low it made Punkin look like a 4x4. |

Having spent some time chasing one on track, I'll tell you that I think that car is about as close to a perfect car as one could possibly want.
So fully capable at EVERYTHING. Love that car.. Sent from my SM-S918U using Tapatalk |
GT4RSs are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING specimens for sure!
Saw one last fall on track at VIR. Owner executed a rear diffuser "delete"... whilst performing some agricultural racing maneuvers ;) Have stills from my in-car vid but respect owner privacy. Anywho... definitely would entertain trading the GT3 given opportunity on one that's for certain. |
My friends with the yellow RS have been enjoying it at our various DEs this spring and summer. The only problem is it wears out a set of tires every w/e, sometimes in a single day. They come from the factory with some neg camber built in, but they've added more. I think they're all the way to -3.0. The gray RS wore out his tires in a day too, so this must be common. Guess $1500 is the price of every DE admission. Could get spendy at a 3 day DE.
