2006 Cayman S

This is my recent purchase with 7,500 miles on it. 2006 Cayman S - Arctic Silver Metalic with Black interior - Tiptronic S, 19" Carrera Classic Wheels, Ceramic Composite Brakes, Sport Chrono Pkg, PCM/Navigation, Porsche Adaptive Suspension Management (PASM), Sport Steering Wheel, Bose Surround with Remote CD changer, Power Seat Pkg, and Rear Window Wiper. :D

Dang that thing is loaded! Sticker on that thing must've been almost 90 large? You don't see that many with the ceramic brakes....very nice!

Nice ride!

Those don't look like the ceramics though. It looks like the S brakes painted yellow...

I love the idea of the CC brakes, but not the price. How long are the pads supposed to last? I think the rotors are lifetime, correct? Do you track the car?

They sure look right to me. I've a buddy with them and they look just like that. Just look how loooooong that caliper is compared to an S caliper.

I think I shall choose the "special edition hardtop Boxster S" next time around. Owning a convertible in Houston is a waste of good canvas and the convertible top can cost as much to fix and/or replace as a reconditioned motor in most moderately priced cars.
