Driver side fan not working
It doesn't look like my driver's side fan works only the passenger side. Is it a blown fuse?

Radiator fans? How do you know one is not working.

I don't believe there is a driver's side fan.
The driver's side is air intake. The passenger side is engine compartment air - including the fan. |
I'm guessing he means the interior duct fan/outlets?

The vents on both sides that is. I just thought that if one side sucks the air the other must do the same.

Alienz, try these tests.
1) Ride as a passenger with the top down - the engine doesn't sound nearly as aggresive as when driving. 2) Stick your ear next to the air grills on each side and have someone blip the throttle a few times. The passenger side clatters while the drivers side goes whooosh. 3) Listen to the fan noise from each grill after you park your car. No fan noise on the driver's side. These 3 experiments should convince you that the driver's side grill is used for sucking air INSIDE the engine, while the passenger side grill is for blowing air AROUND the engine. If this doesn't work, you can actually look pull back the top and look at the engine compartment(not much to see, but kinda fun to learn how to do). There is an air filter on the drivers side and a fan on the passenger side. Ad Sach |
