New boxster owner!

I just purchased an 02 S. I hate the orange on the headlights, and on the tailights. What is involved in changing the head lights to a newer style without the orange, and how much does it cost? I have seen the word litronic pop up what does this mean? Could a dealer do the conversion of the headlights? Thanks for any suggestions.

Many here have done this. Just do a search meanwhile before someone responds.

I bought the clear tails and side lights from Suncoast for ~$175. It's a 20 minute DIY. The headlights are a bit trickier. My '99 has Litronics, so I didn't have to go there. Litronic upgrades average about $1200-1400 from a reputable source. Since that are a target of thieves, they do pop up on auction sites for less - if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. You may be able to find a set of used clears offered by those who have done the Litronic upgrade. Good Luck

BTW The litronics on my Boxster provide the best night driving experience I've ever had!

I've seen Litronics in several online stores for $1,200-$1,400. Do you know if that's per set or each?

Thanks
