GMP Performance

GMP Performance has Racing Dynamics front strut brace in carbon fiber for $263. The rear is $290.

Racing Dynamics has the same strut brace in aluminum for $261.

How is this possible? Has anyone purchased products from GMP Performance?

Schnell sells a strut brace for $125. I get suspicious when prices are that low.

Anybondy have experience?

Thanks.

Before you put on the strut braces you may want to check on the 030 sway bars. Both front and rear are $160ish new with bushings and nuts from Sunset, well at least for the 2.5L 5 spd.

Hi,

I have the Racing Dynamics front and rear braces in alloy, and they had a very positive effect on the car. Reduced body roll significantly and stiffened the chassis more than I thought possible. I got them on a sale from Mid-America for $199 each, well worth it. I have heard stories about the Schnell Brace not lining up correctly, but can't confirm other than this. Some members here have the Schnell and had no issues, so it just may be a thing of hit and miss QA.

Like Robt. says, the 030 sway bars are a good thing too, but they do a different job. The ultimate would be to add them both. Coilovers too, but at that point, you're really going to be altering the ride quality as a trade off for improved handling...

Happy Motoring!... Jim'99
