05 Boxster S: For those who are maintenance savi.
 

On a 2005 Boxster S: A message on the speed guage displayes (x) days till my next inspection. The next inspection is only a-look-around and easily done by anyone who is mechanically incline. My only problem is...how do you permanently turn off upcoming maintenance display messages but not problem messages?

But with it being a 2005 and still under warranty would that not jeapordize it by not going through the proper maintenance and documenting that it was performed?

You likely need the dealer to clear the code that confirms the "look around" has been done. Sounds like a warranty/maintenance covered item (at least it should be ;) )
