Ignition switch issue

Guys
2000 Boxster S ….Switch went bad and in process of replacing all was good until I was about to remove the single 20torx at the right side of the light switch…I am doing the long version to include the DS vent for better access…
Anyway there is not a 20 tort at the right side if the housing unit but there is something anchoring at this point .
Looking into the cavity of the opening for 20torx I can see some kind of anchor at the waty back …but it’s very small and not able to identify this anchor .I know it’s anchored here as cannot pry loose the plastic vent , stops at this location.
Has anyone had this situation or oddity of anchorage of the vent housing at the light switch
Thanks for assistance
Frank

From my recollection, just a screw (can't remember the head type, but Torx sounds plausible).

My vague recollection is that it’s a small Phillips screw. It’s been a while…
