ABS issue at race car
 

I have an endurance race car with ABS from a 2000 Boxter (the race car is a 924/944). The ABS is stand alone and not connected to the anything else then the sensors, battery and ground. At the latest race we got a few lock-ups so my plan is to connect the MIL-light for the ABS but I'm not sure how that is supposed to work. My hope was to get some support from the experts here :)
Is the MIL active high or active low? I have tested both with and without one wheel sensor (left rear) connected but I can't get the light to get active. When the wheel sensor was disconnected we got rear wheel lock -up but no light.
Does the MIL need something else to work? Is it even a valid test to disconnect a wheel speed sensor?

It's not the best feeling to not know if the ABS works at the end of a long straight...

pm me and i can email you wiring diagrams from shop manual if that helps (but 22 MB ...). you should also confirm part # on your abs pump as they differ depending on options - psm, e-diff, etc.
