996 gauge upgrade, Automatic gauge Manual car

I recently completed the 996 gauge upgrade in my 2001 S 6speed 986. Once I got the 996 gauge I found out it was from a 2005 automatic car and I was not able to return it. I was able to change the face on the water temp/fuel gauge. And every thing is working fine accept when I first start the car I will get the Tiptronic emergency run message, And when I pull accept on the OBC it will go away and I will not see it again until the next time I start the car. I tried to disable it with durametric with no luck.

Any suggestions?

Okay lets go at this from another angle.

Is it possible to reprogram the LED display in the instrument cluster?

Thank you

The panel is looking for the Tip's computer and cannot find it. I am not sure this can be disabled or programmed out.
