Ride height

I know this question didn't have a single answer but I'd love to hear everyone's input.

I have standard twist 17" wheels (225/45 up front, 255/40 rear) and godspeed coilovers with the ride height adjusted to 5mm above minimum in the ROW sport range.

The ride height needs to come up a bit because Ive damaged the transmission air vents but otherwise I like the setup.

But, as I've become a better driver I want to start to really dial in a more aggressive overall setup, including reducing understeer further and getting wide rear tires.

This has led me to thinking about bigger wheels and possibily running a square setup. With bigger wheels though will (probably) come an increase in ride height.

So, my question to those running 18 or 19" wheels on a performance oriented setup - what ride height have you dialed in? Is ROW sport range the fastest setup? Do you think that 10-20mm up or down makes a big difference in cornering and overall speed?

I know this isn't a straightforward question and there are lots.of answers, and some guys are probably advanced enough to say "depends on the track". I guess I'm just trying to get a feel for it.

Bonus points for anyone who can comment on changing the rake or running different size wheels in the rear.

Best,
Ike
