AOS issue again !
 
This is my 3rd AOS in 2yrs it reads 3.20-3.75 back and forth at idle ,..is it time for the high dollar version or is this a maintenance item ?? Thanks Frank

3.2 - 3.75 what? Inches of water vacuum? Loafs of bread?

Hi Frank, did you used OEM parts on the previous two AOS replacements? Just curious about the low one year lifespan of those AOS..

The values you posted are low vacuum, as the AOS does not produce vacuum, but regulates its level in the sump, and the only failure point is when it goes over 6 inches of water, it may not be the AOS. Weak vacuum could just be a vacuum leak in the intake system, or the engine was not fully warmed up before testing.
