Cruise Control activation via Durametric problems
2003, M/T, base.
It had the 2-stalk, upgraded to the 4-stalk.
The OBD computer works (I had it activated earlier when I had Durametric during initial purchase inspection).
Once I had everything installed, I met with a nice gentleman from Lansing who let me use Durametric Pro in order to activate cruise control.
The first thing was to activate it via the engine module what was completed fine.
Next step was to go to the cluster and activate it there.
That is where the problem is.
There is a popup window and it says:
Unknown type found. Type found = 1E. Please contact support for assistance.
Anyone experienced it?
I started thinking if by any chance the cluster is not different or was replaced at some point by one of the previous owners, but I cannot verify it.
So anyone has any clue what that means?
