Injector pulse width

So this is a pretty off the wall question but here it goes...
Does anyone know the difference in injector pulse width timing tables for a 986 vs 996?
Is there a fixed multiplier used across the tables or is it a log scale?
The reason I ask is that in looking at the systems, to the specs are the same for pump flow rate, injector flow rate, and fuel rail pressure. That leaves the only real difference between the two at injector pulse width timing.
