Do you proofread you posts before posting them????

flmont 08-06-2020 07:25 PM

LOL..depending on What ?? means maybe not

Oh never mind, disregard.

During my years as a kid in school, my dad used to pick apart everything he read that I'd created...I guess maybe the propensity's hereditary?

Dad's been gone for many years, maybe I've gotten sloppy...there's definitely times I wished I'd read my posts an additional time before posting!

Best wishes on the outcome.

I don't know about that CD collection, but I'm going to be buying a Type 4 VW engine rebuild DVD (originally made in VHS format) soon. From the preview, it looks like Jake was just a kid (and expert) when he made it.

I paid $500 + expenses to get to Jake's 1st engine rebuild class in 2009. I would think the new DVD's will have even better content info than what I got then, which was all I needed to rebuild my engine.

Thanks for the Info..I trust the process would be the same for most any engine up to M.Y.08'

Essentially yes. There are however significant differences between the 5 chain engines and the 3 chain (03 and 04)

The 987.2 is just lovely. One track event in a barely prepped car was a novel experience. I’ll talk about this more after my next event in September (no time before sadly). My ‘04 hotrod is still in the garage: not pretty enough for a lot of buyers, another thought it was too fast (it was for his son!), yesterday a couple of young guys thought it was fantastic! (the probably don’t have the money .
It’s a driver’s car, not a garage queen!
