Chain Ramp Inspection's
Can you inspect your chain ramp's or guides using a camera,..you know the type that can snake thru the spark plug hole,.(once you remove the tube ),.? Thanks Frank

I don't think so... Anyone else?

I think it would be very difficult. Your cam deviations are a good indicator.

8.6 would indicate worn ramps. You would probably get a code before too long.

Wouldn't the deviations be a result of numerous points of wear; the most significant being vario cam tensioner/phasing pads. These are actuated into the chain for most of the rev range.
