Retainer spring for ebrake
Do the 2.5, 2.7 share the same ebrake parts as the 3 2 boxster s? One of my retainer springs broke. Wow they are hard to find and not cheap.http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1576744720.jpg

I found it online. 3.2 springs are different (per the shop I got them from).

Yes but they are light duty, find that out the hard way practicing J-turn parking! |
New springs are here.http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1576956887.jpg

Have fun replacing those!
But seriously, good luck, re-assembling those is probably the worst project I've done on my '02. |
I had my son do it. It was a great teaching opportunity. Tapping the caliper threads and replacing the springs, we were out $29 and the car wasn't in some shop for ever. Back on the road. Can't wait for Christmas. He has several goodies under the tree for the boxster.http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1577130281.jpg
